However, when I hear him recount the story of his life, it seems to me that there was evidence of something going on even in his childhood, if you can imagine—an abiding presence, more or less, that he would refer to as a little boy. And as time went on, his interest for large environments grew. And even from youth all the way before actually going on for his education, he had a total fascination with the wilderness as a young boy and eventually as a young man.

He went to college. And following his academic work there was offered the opportunity to teach, to train to become a teacher of the blind, which he did do, and with considerable talent was successful at this. And interestingly during that time, in terms of constructing his, the treatment plans for the people that he would work with—young people usually—he began to receive insights in terms of how to customize their training and how to be able to communicate and work with their disabilities each uniquely. And this contributed to his success.

And he was later offered the opportunity to pursue advanced degrees. And he declined. He felt that he couldn’t accept the opportunity even though it provided him a road of some certainty in life, right, and success probably. 

Following this period of time in his life and the decline on his part for these opportunities, he revisited the wilderness again. He felt like he needed to go into the wilderness again. And after emerging from these experiences in the wilderness, he took up the opportunity to begin to teach what he was learning as a teacher for the blind, but with regard to receiving insights which he later termed Inner Guidance.

And so he offered Inner Guidance training for some six or seven years, where he was still actively learning himself and teaching people how to begin to follow inner cues and take responsibility for this level of input and implementing things in life as a result. So he did this.

And then in 1981, -82 and -83, these were the years of Revelation for Marshall and initiation where there was a change. And I met Marshall shortly thereafter. And it’s been a storm of Revelation ever since.

Marshall’s been living this process of Revelation, and so have have I in a way, in terms of being close to him and seeing what it has taken of him to do this. What I’ve come to witness is that Marshall has an enormous capacity for mystery. Enormous. 

The Revelation has at times been a very driving kind of thing. And what’s really interesting is that Marshall’s nature is actually quite delicate. He’s strong, but he’s actually quite delicate, physically. Mentally he’s very, very strong and very stable. But physically…And so over the years what I’ve witnessed is almost this negotiation between the Source of the New Message attempting to assess how much more he could take and how much they could send that he could receive. And he always has been able to do it, though there have been times when with regard to his health becoming impacted by the process, the Revelation would have to cease for a time. And then the Source of the Revelation would have to wait to see the outcome, and in certain situations to even see if he would survive serious health challenges, if you can imagine.

There’s a very intimate relationship between Marshall and the Source of the New Message. Meanwhile, the Revelation was pouring through him—pouring, pouring through him.
