Marshall: [I’d like] to say a word about something in this testimony, Mary’s testimony and Joe’s testimony, that struck me, was what [when?] they found Steps to Knowledge, they were aware of how they would normally think of it, but at the same time there was a deeper sense. And they had enough self-awareness at that time to respond to the deeper sense, the deeper mind with mission [break in video; “cognition”?]. And for you, I think a very appropriate way to approach what you were seeing for the first time.

It’s that ability to recognize something profound; it’s the mundane mind. And something that has promise in your life requires that deeper feeling and recognition. And that’s good.

And the other thing was that there was a search. There was a need. There must be something greater. There must be something bigger. Am I really living the life I know I must live?

The humility and the willingness to step into that question and live with it without seeking to simply stamp it with an answer opens the door. And I think that that’s what Heaven is looking for in all who have the chance to respond.

Or said more simply, it takes Knowledge to recognize Knowledge. And when that can happen, that recognition, it sends a message that someone has a chance to escape the gravity and the fog of this world—not to leave it—a greater strength to be able to be in it successfully.

So thank you for your testimony, and Joe as well.
