I feel it’s been shown through the New Message and Marshall’s life, and even through the Arranon Epic, which Marshall is recording, that sometimes someone comes into the Coordination because they were seeking and sometimes they come in when they are not seeking. They’re literally called out of the crowd. They are the speck on the ocean drifting with no hope of making landfall and they are found.  And that, that’s, it’s very powerful to see that, that can happen, you know; and that it can actually lead to real devotion and commitment and movement. Because there’s a world of people out there who don’t look like likely candidates to be students of Knowledge, but there’s no telling who they really are. What you see, the tattoos on their body, the way they speak, how they dress, what they’re doing with their life, nothing—none of that really says anything about who they really are.

And so there’s this really, I don’t know, powerful thread in the reality of revelation that things do not happen in any sort of alignment with how you might think they would, you know. It’s not a predictable “If this, then that.” It’s very nonlinear. It’s very non-predictable. Like Carol said, I think two nights ago, she said, “That my destiny would involve emerging into the universe of life is not something I ever would have thought when I found Steps.” It’s like, not even in the playbook for her, for her life at that time—just not even in there.

And so, it kind of explains a lot about what we’re a part of, because this didn’t emerge out of a rehashing of human psychology and religion or a reformation of existing traditions—I mean, this is new. It is the ball heading into left field. And you are the schmo standing in left field with your glove off your hand and that ball is coming right at your head.

So, I just see this demonstrated everywhere and in so many ways in my life, the life of our family; just that this is new. It really comes from the Greater Community of life, which is to say it comes from a Greater Order of Creation and it enters this world that has been isolated thus far. And there’s no telling who it might reach, how it might activate them, what they might do. So, it’s this quality of revelation, real Revelation, the once-in-a-thousand year Revelation, that these things happen.
